Intern Covenant Members

Intern Covenant Members make New Community Church their church home and share their God-given gifts in the context of exploring a decision about becoming a full covenant member of the Church.  The basic commitments of an intern covenant member are:

1)  Affirmation of our faith statement

2)  Regular participation in worship

3)  Support the stated call and vision of the church

4)  Participate in a NCC approved Mission Group

5)  Attend one silent retreat per year sponsored by the Church

6)  Commit to a daily time of quiet, prayer and bible reading of at least 30 minutes

7)  Exercise your God-given gifts in consultation with the covenant members

8)  Maintain a "sponsoring" relationship with a covenant member

9)  Tithe a minimum of 5% of ones income to the Church
